SOHO vs SOVO at Armani Hallson KLCC: What Buyers Should Compare
SOHO and SOVO are useful project categories, but the right comparison goes beyond the label. Start with the exact layout, tower, intended use, documentation, financing treatment and total cost.
Published project mix
The project publishes one SOHO tower with 775 units and two SOVO towers with 1,440 units. SOHO layouts are published at 538–558 sqft, while the six SOVO layouts span 406–1,182 sqft.
SOHO layouts
Published SOHO layouts include Type A at 558 sqft, an A corner configuration at the same published area, and Type B at 538 sqft. Review the actual stack plan rather than assuming identical experience from similar floor areas.
SOVO layouts
Published SOVO types range from the compact 406 sqft Type B and 438 sqft Type B1 to 776 sqft Type A, 813 sqft Types C and D, and the 1,182 sqft Type E. The range creates materially different space, price and holding-cost considerations.
What the label does not answer
Do not infer legal use, financing eligibility, tax treatment, utility tariff, rental permissions or operating rules from the marketing label alone. Confirm these matters from the current transaction documents and qualified Malaysian advisers for the exact unit.
A practical way to choose
First decide the intended use and comfortable total budget. Then compare only currently available units on usable layout, floor, orientation, view, total purchase cost, recurring charges and written transaction terms. This avoids choosing a category first and forcing the purchase to fit it.
